The scientists are squirming away under their dynamo gravity model like little children.

There must be some Dark Matter messing up Juno's sensors. The a priori math can't be wrong.

Sure, but also nothing in EU predicted this... or?*

This is not surprising at all.
The process is called disintegration or depolarization.
After a perfect sphere or a first half of life of stars or planets
(or everything else), is reaching the second half of its existence.
Matter depolarizes by the magnetic poles moving towards the
equator. Our own earth magnetic poles are already 23 degrees
away from poles of rotation. Jupiter, being so much further from the
sun, or older then the earth, it is normal that Jupiter's magnetic poles
are much further from poles of rotation.
This is an excellent post and all in EU should see it. Now when we know
the basic operation of nature, we can see that everything is as it
should be.

The difference with EU though is while it may not be predicted specifically, it's certainly not impossible, and in some regards expected even.

Perhaps 'pole' was a misleading term. Since weather is largely driving by solar electric currents, it always seemed like a pregone conclusion that with the right probe/data lots of multi-pole lines would been seen.
Just look at the plasma of the Sun. Those streams of solar matter bursting all over the place, arching up and down at incredible volumes.

If we could really 'see' what was happening around Jupiter. It might seem not so incredible. Except when it makes dynamo-planet physics crazy. Then it's awesome.

In today's news, is the wobble of the earth and the reasons why.
The reasons why planets wobble is the speed of their rotation
and the oblateness of their poles. When the earth was in position
of Mercury, it was rotating faster and it was a perfect sphere. It was in
the genero-active side of the wave. The radioactive, depolarization
or disintegration side of the wave act totally opposite of the first
half or life side be it sun or atom. This is not to say that they are
wrong, only that we now know exactly nature's processes and
nonsense cannot pass as easily.
