The best presentation I've seen of this data. Re-examine these observations/data in electrical and not gravitation terms. Even the "additional comment" is important. Herein lies the answer to the sun's circuit/path in space.

Interesting anomaly... but from just skimming through the article

Since such deviations from mean sidereal time CANNOT be caused by an increase or decrease in the speed of earth's rotation, I suspect a combined 'gravitational' effect of the sun and the Sirius system on the earth's axis of rotation. In my article "Some more thoughts on gravitation" I have tried to describe how the Sirius system might be responsible for a 'curvature in space' that can reach as far as to our solar system.

I find the gravitational explanation very unlikely.. Perhaps there is an explanation that can be explained with the EU theory?

Corona, Yes, it's pretty simple in the EU model. Since Sirius A and Sirius B are not electrically equivalent (see page 79 of "The Electric Universe" for details), their orbit generates an E-M wave which sweeps past our charged spinning earth. This speeds and slows Earth's rotation.
The interesting question to ask here is: "Why should Sirius' motion across the sky match precesssion?" This question
of course has been answered in this forum already. Sirius must be traveling on same filament or in same Birkeland current as the sun.

And perhaps an even more interesting question might be to ask "how did the Sumerians & Ancient Egyptians know this?
They were both well aware of precession, and Sirius was especially venerated by the Egyptians.
Then of course there is the astounding knowledge of the Dogon in Africa, who know all about the complete Sirius system.....when they really should not.
