star clusters

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Spherical clusters of stars are another example of how plasma is organized and confined into coherent formations.
In my years of reading on this site I have never seen an explanation of star clusters from the EU perspective, except that there are filaments and it only looks like a cluster because of the great distances involved.
And:
Galactic disks act like Faraday motors, while globular clusters (as has been suggested in the past) might be more like ball lightning than anything else.
I must have missed the comparison of star clusters to ball lightening.

Stephan, If you can elaborate( or anyone ) I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jack
