While reading this interesting article, I thought that perhaps the reason for the enormous gains were not necessarily because of 'Only' heat, but because of the structured water 'recharge' due to extended exposure to massive Infrared that would occur in a sauna. Thoughts? I'd recommend getting familiar with Dr. Gerald Pollack's work first

It would be a very interesting and inexpensive experiment to find out if similar results could be had with infrared lamps, etc. Perhaps even other forms of EM radiation, since Dr. Pollack stated that light in general 'charged up' the structured water in his tests, but that 'infrared was the best'. One could even use isolated muscles.. light treating a left bicep and not a right one, then exercising them both to the same level. Many possibilities for potential therapies supported by real evidence here.

Knomegnome,
Another take on "structured water" :

Another take on "structured water" :
Again, Pollack uses his data to propose “ordered water.” That isn't wrong, but of course it begs the question: what is ordering it? The order is being given to the water by the charge field being channeled through it. It is charge that creates the order, and without channeling, it could not possibly create this amount of order.
