Seems to be behind a paywall - but it is good to see that mainstream journals are picking up and discussing the Electric Universe theory - Did anyone read the article yet? Or am I double posting here?http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg2 ... verse.html

When physicist Timothy Horbury says "everything we've seen [from the Voyager probe] is not what we expected to see", he appears to be referring to standard cosmological models and their predictions for what the transit from our solar system to interstellar space should be like (newscientist.com, 4 December).
Those influential in the non-standard plasma cosmology field, such as physicists Anthony Peratt and Donald Scott, would be more surprised if the electromagnetism that Voyager has detected, and which has been described as a "magnetic highway", was missing.
If the measured electromagnetic fields are factored into the forces that govern galaxies, perhaps we can end the fruitless 20-year search for dark matter to explain how galaxies are held together, and let gravity take a back seat to electromagnetic effects.

New Scientist article about the EUT (?)
Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. -Nikola Tesla -1934

Hi Mr A.
It's a letter unfortunately, not an article. However, they published it and that's a step in the right direction.

It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong.
- Richard P. Feynman
Normal science does not aim at novelties of fact or theory and, when successful, finds none.
- Thomas Kuhn

Hi Tayga,
Yes, you are right, it was a letter, NOT an article....in any case the EUT does creep into the mainstream..slowly and hopefully...surely.
