butterflies
Greetings now here is a familiar form with a somewhat different name http://www.rt.com/usa/313759-cosmic-but ... la-hubble/ regards Beekeeper

Re: butterflies
worth watching at 3:45 to see a video of this planetary nebula over time.
so we are told planetary nebula are ionised by UV from the central (dying) star and if they're bipolar then there is theorised to be a white dwarf in orbit, spitting the matter out on whirling jets as it dances around.
it's not the most absurd explanation to come up against EU. do any of you guys feel that it warrants any consideration? assuming for a moment that you aren't thoroughly convinced that you're looking at a bennet pinch.

Re: butterflies
nasa bit on the twin jet nebula http://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/hub ... jet-nebula
"Within the wings, starting from the star system and extending horizontally outwards like veins are two faint blue patches. Although these may seem subtle in comparison to the nebula’s rainbow colors, these are actually violent twin jets streaming out into space, at speeds in excess of one million kilometers (621,400 miles) per hour. This is a phenomenon that is another consequence of the binary system at the heart of the nebula. These jets slowly change their orientation, precessing across the lobes as they are directed by the wayward motions of the binary system. Precession is a change in the orientation of the rotational axis of a rotating body."
this is my final attempt to elicit a response on the matter. we all know the basic EU explanation of bipolar planetary nebulae but i recall EU referring to the standard argument as (loosely) "a fast stellar wind overtaking a slower gas".
i suspect they have changed tack and maybe it will be worthwhile to sniff around as a precaution.

Do you mean that they know say 2 stars are creating the wings and all features seen?ThunderIdeal wrote:this is my final attempt to elicit a response on the matter. we all know the basic EU explanation of bipolar planetary nebulae but i recall EU referring to the standard argument as (loosely) "a fast stellar wind overtaking a slower gas".

Of course this is only 1 star being born, and all features are the result of a pinching Birkeland current.
EU still holds stars can fission but i maintain all mainstream 'double star*' observations are false, this one is most obvious they invent a second star not by observation but to explain features that are mysterious to them, while these same features are already fully known/explainable in the EU paradigm of an electrical pinch.

Daniel
