Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Amazing the similarity of the left object (IRAS 23166+1655) to that of the infamous Norgwegian "Sky Spiral".
If Arp was around I wonder if he would think the same thing as me that there appears to be a luminous bridge linking it to its neighbour (WR104), which by coincidence is almost at the same angle as the Norwegian Sky Spiral photo (but with reducing luminosity).

This thread was started while i was off doing other things...
I find it strange that no one has responded to the amazing photo's!
The small picture is difficult for me to see...And i don't know if some lens distortion could account for it....but it is interesting.
The sky spiral is most fascinating. Does it appear that the descending spiral is moving in the opposite direction??!!
What would account for that?!
If true, that would eliminate mechanical cause , would it not?

Has this "spiral" been commented on in another thread?
Heard a man on the radio say that this was over russia and was a rocket test gone bad!
