As usual, James P. Hogan makes some interesting and insightful points...

James has been my main source of EU info (until my copy of The Electric sky arrives) Once in a while he puts out an email newsletter, always with some interesting stuff to read. Well worth signing up for.

Yep, it was a really well-written piece, as is everything from James P. Hogan. Of course people expect great writing prowess from such a prolific author of scientific and sci-fi literature, but the attitude he has to EU theory, and other subjects which get a bit stifled in some quarters, is a real breath of fresh air.
And for those here who are not 'single-issue warriors', he has a lot to say on a number of fronts in his newsletters, and you can sign up for free which is certainly well worth it, as Richard mentions. One could easily spend a month or two just reading over his website, it's absolutely huge.
So "well done" to JPH, he gets my vote!
Cheers, Dave Smith.
