Balloons
Greetings EU Pilgrims Giant balloons structure found at the centre if the Milky way .
This is article I found on CNN of all places. Reading it really felt like a story from EU if it was not for the black holes thrown in the mix. Hope some one can find it and put the link to it very interesting. ONE item in particular refers to magnetic strings tens of light years long but no mentioned of electricity. regards Beekeeper

If nothing can travel faster than light, how can darkness escape it

Re: Balloons
They say "magnetic" in the article but "there is no electricity in space". There must be some giant fridge magnets over there. In the early 1980s, Yusef-Zadeh discovered large-scale, highly organized magnetic filaments
And what is a "magnetic filament"?

Usually it is a radiating plasma which shows the Zeeman effect in the spectrum.Roshi wrote: And what is a "magnetic filament"?
The Zeeman effect is a sign of magnetism.
In EU and basic physics, this probably means that an electrical current is
going through the plasma.
In mainstream astronomy, the magnetism simply comes out of thin air.

That's the part that *kills* me.Zyxzevn wrote:Usually it is a radiating plasma which shows the Zeeman effect in the spectrum.Roshi wrote: And what is a "magnetic filament"?

Emphasis mine. The filaments emit gamma rays and x-ray and they must have an 'ancient' origin, but they intentionally and deliberately avoid the single most obvious explanation for them, namely *electrical current*.Astronomers discovered these galactic fart bubbles in 2010, while looking toward the center of the galaxy with NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope. Now known as the Fermi Bubbles, these massive, gassy blobs appear only in X-ray and gamma-ray light, teasing at an ancient and extremely powerful origin. How and when this galactic bubble-blowing blast occurred, astronomers can't say. But in a new study published today (Sept. 11) in the journal Nature, an international team of researchers reported some fresh clues found by looking to the opposite end of the electromagnetic spectrum, at radio waves.
They dumb it all down to "magnetism" and "bad (fart) gas" while intentionally avoiding any mention of electricity or plasma. Astronomers today are worse than they Ptolemaic worshiping counterparts of thousands of years ago.
Thanks to LHC, Z-machine, and other types of plasma physics experiments, astronomers today have all the lab results in plasma physics that they could hope for, and all the modern technology that they could ask for, and yet they stubbornly and fearfully cling to their goofy metaphysical (dark) nonsense while utterly avoiding any empirical explanations for anything. It's just sad to watch.
There *cannot be* any sort of large scale magnetic fields in plasma in space without electrical current to create them, organize them, and sustain them. Plasma isn't a "solid", it's *moving*. It's therefore impossible to have a large scale magnetic field in moving plasma without electrical current. What astronomers today *refuse* to discuss is the current that *generates* those fields, organizes them (generating "swirls"/aka Birkeland currents), and also *sustains* them indefinitely. It's utterly pathetic to see them constantly dumb everything down to magnetism, gas and collisions.

Re: Balloons
You can't read anything these days that comes from mainstream. They might as well just invoke Magic and get it over with.
interstellar filaments conducted electricity having currents as high as 10 thousand billion amperes
