Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and wanted to share this image of a Majolica Art Piece:
https://www.dropbox.com/sc/37pnc9kxd1di ... 6RJ-YPcHHa
To my eyes, this work of art could easily be interpreted as depicting the divergence of three celestial bodies, with a plasma arc around the bodies that extends outward as a lightning bolt (i.e. the bird's elongated legs of the same color).
Is there anyone on this board who has seen similar works of art, or can comment on the back story or archetype that this art piece seems to depict? Thanks.
Interesting 1800's art - depicting planetary divergence?

I am not an expert but I agree that this composition could suggest the 'polar configuration' at some time in the past
Do you know the provenance of this piece?
Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't know the provenance of this piece. I was hoping that others may have seen a similar motif in other art works to give me a starting point.
