I tried it this morning and it's up and running just fine, Goldminer, both by linking from a separate site on The Arp Galaxies and by clicking on your link. Maybe it was down for maintenance temporarily.

Many of the links provided are now dead.

When I get home tonight I'll make a list of them and post it so that the Admin can delete them.

So... when you gonna delete the dozens of dead links?
* Who, I? Not likely for a while. But there are surely lots of worthy new links that could be added from the NPA's website.
* Oh, and thanks much for marking the dead links etc.

We should not delete them. If needed, they could be redrawn from the Internet archive. Even if the ideas were totally wrong, history has value in charting courses. at worse, we should move them to a defunct links section. Optimally our group would have its own mirrors of valuable information; though even then it is good to know when others abandon or defunct-ify ideas.

The links should not be anywhere on the front resources page, because every one that is marked 'dead' is-- dead. As in, ERROR 404 or similar.

If I were a casual reader, I might think the entire links page was trash if almost half of what I clicked on was a defunct, non-existent page. That's why I marked every dead/trash link for the admin. It appears that they are not currently interested in keeping an up-to-date reference for users.

I hope the mass of bad links will be removed from the front post- it looks bad, and is a frustrating experience for someone in a learning/exploring mode to see so many junk pages included.
Perhaps it's a good idea to collect them at the bottom for posterity- separate from the live links, explaining what they were before they disappeared, even if only for reference.

Only admin can do this.

In regards to Panspermia, this link could be added:

On the Windhexe: ''An engineer could not have invented this,'' Winsness says. ''As an engineer, you don't try anything that's theoretically impossible.''

I am missing the very well-done and instructive website by Raphael Haumann with its video clips here. One of the few websites in German language dealing with the Plasma Universe:

Exploration and discovery without honest investigation of "extraordinary" results leads to a Double Bind (Bateson, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_bind ) that creates loss of hope and depression. No more Double Binds !
