Magnetic Fields of the Planets

An 11 year old web site, but very informative.

Thanks Gary,

I was wondering if there is something we are totally overlooking when gazing at the magnetism of galaxies, stars and planets.
To me it looks like a giant gearing mechanism or a hierarchy of whirlpools, perpetuating the rotation of them all, but the numbers do not add up.

I have the pet theory that between matter and free space the roles/strenghts as well as speeds of EM forces are reversed, having lightspeed as the divider line.

This can be derived from the theory that atoms are three dimensional knots in space, restricting the movement of free space. This theory is actually fully worked out by Dewey Larson and provides a much more advanced atomic theory than QM or the Standard Model (it aligns with all known observations, so it is no pet theory): http://www.reciprocalsystem.com/

Wonder if you know more about the magnetic "hierarchy" in space...
First, God decided he was lonely. Then it got out of hand. Now we have this mess called life...
The past is out of date. Start living your future. Align with your dreams. Now execute.

Quite a bit of stuff to go through there Steven, will have a more in-depth look when I get time. However I like your 'hierarchy of whirlpools' idea.

I had been thinking about a structure of our solar system that would fit my Magnetron model, and that could explain the planetary magnetic fields that do not seem to conform to expectations. I had 'bootstrapping' in mind, where the inherent or residual magnetism would power the MHD, and if the forces became strong enough, would give rise to a secondary, or induced magnetron within the planet. This could only occur within the Suns magnetosphere. Perhaps the moons would contain the third generation magnetrons by the same method, but would rely on the planetary magnetosphere?
I had pictured the Sun magnetron as being powered by a flux tube, but maybe it is the galaxy powered by a flux tube, and our Sun is a first generation induced magnetron. My head hurts!

Anyway, I'd better take this kind of thinking back to The Box with the Looser Lid!

Does that make any sense ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplexing
The two most basic forms of multiplexing are time-division multiplexing (TDM) and frequency-division multiplexing (FDM), both either in analog or digital form. FDM requires modulation of each signal.

In optical communications, FDM is referred to as wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scheduling_algorithm
The need for a scheduling algorithm arises from the requirement for most modern systems to perform multitasking (execute more than one process at a time) and Multiplexing (transmit multiple flows simultaneously).
And doesnt a system need a magin, room for free decissions ?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margin_%28 ... earning%29
The margin of a single data point is defined to be the distance from the data point to a decision boundary. Note that there are many distances and decision boundaries that may be appropriate for certain datasets and goals. A margin classifier is a classifier that explicitly utilizes the margin of each example while learning a classifier. There are theoretical justifications (based on the VC dimension) as to why maximizing the margin (under some suitable constraints) may be beneficial for machine learning and statistical inferences algorithms.
And thats only if i look at it as a machine without consciousness.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circadian_rhythm
A circadian rhythm is an approximate daily periodicity, a roughly-24-hour cycle in the biochemical, physiological or behavioural processes of living beings, including plants, animals, fungi and cyanobacteria.
Light resets the biological clock in accordance with the phase response curve (PRC). Depending on the timing, light can advance or delay the circadian rhythm. Both the PRC and the required illuminance vary from species to species; much lower light levels are required to reset the clocks in nocturnal rodents than in humans.

In addition to light intensity, wavelength (or color) of light is an important factor in the degree to which the clock is reset. Melanopsin is most efficiently excited by blue light, 420-440 nm[16] according to some researchers while others have reported 470-485nm.
I am not saying the sun is sending multiplexed signals within their particle wind and magnetic flux. Although i like the idea.

There is the rule for human bodies. Still we dont die if we refuse to sleep for a night. It takes some time without sleep until health problems occur. The magin is needed. 1+1=2 math would kill us to fast.

The magnetic fields seem to have a similar margin. Else we would see some flatlines, constant flows at NOAA.
