Down the Hatch

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Down the Hatch

great that there is a TPOD on this article. There was already some discussion over here http://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/forum/phpB ... f=3&t=5447. However, what I would have liked to be addressed is what the author thinks what would happen when this gas cloud will be in close proximity to the plasmoid (or even fall into it?). What does the EU predict in this case? Will there be a sort of discharge? Does the author agree with the predictions made in the article that we will observe X-rays from the center in the near future?

So far it was mentioned that there are general dischagres every now and then when the treshold density is reached. But how powerful are these discharges and how often do they occur? Perhaps these questions can not be answered yet as we lack observational data, but I did anticipate a more detailed response to the claims that were being made.
