Superluminal information transfer confirmed by simple experi

Has science taken a wrong turn? If so, what corrections are needed? Chronicles of scientific misbehavior. The role of heretic-pioneers and forbidden questions in the sciences. Is peer review working? The perverse "consensus of leading scientists." Good public relations versus good science.

Experimental Clarification of Coulomb-Field Propagation <>
Superluminal information transfer confirmed by simple experiment

The experiment uses a spark gap between two conducting spheres acting as capacitors of opposite electric charge. After spark-formation, this rapidly collapsing dipole field is measured by an oscilloscope connected via probes to conducting detector-spheres
Propagation speed of a rapidly collapsing electrostatic dipole-field (spark gap between two spherical capacitors) has been measured in longitudinal direction. Almost exclusively superluminal propagation velocities v > c have been found

Some interesting history about Herz as well and an easy setup that could be duplicated by ayone serious about this, will mainstream science follow?

Are there some pointers for EU to be found? Longitudinal speeds are indeed faster than c it seems.

The experiment SEEMS to demonstrate that the field collapses at a speed greater than the speed of light to one not trained in physics(me). However, even if true, would not any usable INFORMATION derived from the process be limited to the speed of light? Are not the circuits of the oscilloscope and the detector spheres still operating at c ?

Information is not something physical so you can limit its speed. This speed over c is longitudinal, for easy perception of the physical field mechanics it can be seen as a push, or tug-o-war, in this case, yes information can be send at greater speeds than c, as it is not the speed of light that is measured but the push of the whole field. When you feel push it can be noted as a point (and maybe a line) , you could in theory send information telegraph style

ps i was hoping someone here could review this experiment better than me or jacmac can...
