Re: The "Quantum Brain"
Theres a book by Jeffrey Satinover called THE QUANTUM BRAIN. It was instrumental in helping me to be sufficiently deluded into accepting the quantum mystics nonsense in the past. Quantum physics is pure nonsense contradictory irrational duality. An existent cannot be both a and non a at the same time.

Re: The "Quantum Brain"
I was the one who created the title for whatever reason.
I think "mystical" experiences are helpful in showing us that there is an level of awareness that exists beyond our "day-to-day" perceptions. Many people don't even know that.
However, mystical practices only make us feel better. They do not help us to understand our behavior. They teach us to "detach" ourselves or to "collapse" our egos. Do we really want to do that? Does that make us deny who we are? Don't we need to know why we (all of us) behave as we do?
That's why we need an electric model to apply to human behavior and "spirituality." It is the only model (in my opinion) that will be inclusive to all. If we believe in the electric universe and that we are electrical beings, then we should be able to create an "electrical model" to help us understand human behavior.
For instance we speak of positive and negative experiences. But are they really that? How often do we say that a negative or positive experience became the opposite? Are we simply trying to define our attempts to seek some kind of dynamic equilibrium?
What behavioral properties do we share in common with plasma? I know it sounds amusing on the surface; but look at how we humans are constantly describing ourselves in electrical terms:
He is not grounded
He blew a fuse
He’s got his wires crossed
He’s charged up
He’s a dynamo
He’s suffering from brownout
His battery needs recharging
He’s not "tuned in" to anything I am saying.
All he gives me is static.
He’s not on my wavelength
He’s running on overload
He’s showing that old spark
He has a magnetic personality

Re: The "Quantum Brain"
The Holographic Brain and the Holographic Universe are also great wave models to explain consciousness.
If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe.

Re: The "Quantum Brain"
I read the "Holographic Universe" so I guess I just assumed the brain saw holographically. However, I don't know any of the details. "The Holographic Brain" is available online: http://www.holographicbrain.com/. Also the author references Richard Restack, M.D., the author of "Brain": http://www.amazon.com/Brain-Last-Fronti ... 0446355402 or his other works on the brain: http://www.alibris.com/search/books/aut ... 20M,%20M.D. Probably it would be worthwhile for me to check out that author as well.

I have set out some priliminary work on the biological structure of nanocomputers in the body and the science of Biophyics.
