Numbers Game - From Cosmology to the Credit Crunch.'
It is a critical examination of the current dominant role of
mathematics in science in general, and cosmology in particular.
I argue that mathematics should be the slave of science, rather
than the master that it now is.
How did this situation come about, and is there any reason to
be suspicious of the strong emphasis on mathematics which we
now witness? Indeed, do mathematical truths equate to scientific
truths?
On March 16, 2009 Dr. Donald E. Scott, author of
The
Electric Sky presented a talk and slide show
to a group of engineers, astrophysicists and others at the Goddard Space
Flight Center.
The talk was well-received in the main, especially when one considers
the nature of both the message and the audience.

Bill interviewed Stephen J. Crothers recently at the airport in Munich,
after Steve had presented a recent paper to a conference.
Physics is first and foremost the study of objects. Without objects,
we can have no Physics. The black hole does not belong in Physics
because it is not a physical object. It is, rather, an irrational
concept and as such does not even belong in Philosophy. The astronomers
should not be pointing their telescopes to the skies in search of black
holes. They should be reading the definition of the word object.
The video exposes that members of the establishment who claim through
the literature to have found black holes, privately admit that no such
thing has ever happened. Australia's Stephen Crothers flatly denies
that it ever can. He offers a few more reasons from a mathematical
perspective for why Black Holes don't and cannot exist. Unfortunately,
mainstream journals do not have a 'Retraction' section where false
claims can be retracted or a 'Dissent' section where opponents can
offer evidence and arguments to expose false prophets.

This segment introduces the Electric Universe, and begins to
explain how the two separate theories of David Talbott and Wal Thornhill
were merged into a compelling foundation for further study.

Summary:
This is the third 10-minute segment of the three-hour video
presentation in development, "Symbols of an Alien Sky" -
a reconstruction of the celestial dramas that inspired the
myth-making epoch of human history.
The present video concludes with "snapshots" of the
hypothesized Polar Configuration, a gathering of planets in ancient
times, evolving through phases of awe-inspiring beauty and terrifying
cosmic violence. This segment will thus serve as the fulcrum for
evaluating the hypothesis in the remaining two and a half hours.
Today's videos are something different again. A young man
questions modern science after coming across Wal Thornhill's
holoscience site.
It's just so refreshing and encouraging to see today's youth
question much of what they are led to believe by the media and
the education system. Unfortunately our institutions are geared
toward teaching our young how to 'parrot' and not how to think for
themselves. And our media helps them right along, without science
editors ever questioning that which they're 'reporting' on, instead
regurgitating the same dogma which has been fed to them.
But seeing these videos shows us that there are some of the
younger generation (and let's face it, they're tomorrow's leaders)
who can still think for themselves.
The 'ratings' and comments section below the videos is also indicative of the support
he's getting from his peers, as well as his ability to defend his right
to speak his mind, and to explore new ideas without being hounded by
the so-called 'experts' of academia.
It should be mentioned that this young man is in no way connected to
the Thunderbolts Project or to holoscience.com, and has produced these
videos on his own initiative. Whilst he doesn't yet have the EU paradigm
'down pat' (and how many of us do?) and does not speak on behalf of the EU
movement, he is at least intelligently exploring many of the options open
to him.
This video is a ten-minute introduction to a three hour video production presently in
development. Other segments, well underway, will follow. Here, the underlying themes

The video is in rough cut, and modifications will be more than likely in coming months,
as other segments are completed. The principles stated are far-reaching, but they are
not speculations, just facts that are too rarely acknowledged.
One reason for publishing this video in rough-cut form is that, if any statement of fact is
exaggerated, or in any way inaccurate, we will want to correct the statement before
releasing the first hour. Responses will be carefully reviewed.
