The reason is simple, most cosmologist are from USA and living there and USA is economically in deep shit. Soon (maybe this year or in 1st quarter of next) will USA collapse, everybody will have another problems then preserving positions or power (i mean normal people, not the government).

That's because people are blissfully ignorant and allow the Federal reserve to be controlled by bankers and not the government. How anyone figures the national debt can go down when the government has to borrow money at interest and then borrow more money at interest to pay back the previous interest is beyond me. The very idea that you can control debt by spending less is ludicrous, when you still have to borrow more money to pay back the interest, in a never ending viscous circle. But we digress.

The EU model doesn't enforce any of these implausible claims. The composition of comets is irrelevant to the fact that they flare up the way they do, since the flare isn't dependent on explosive sublimation due to solar heating. Comets "may be" rock, and appear to be rock, but they don't have to be.

Good point. All they have to be composed of is something that can react in an electrical fashion to charge.
